"Strictly Scottish Country Dancing"

The next dance will be this Saturday, 11 December, in Strachan Village Hall, 8pm-midnight. Isobel has prepared a suitably festive dance programme, and I will have some mulled wine/hot spiced juice to warm you up on arrival, to continue the festive theme. As always, please bring some finger food to share at the interval, and the cost remains £5/person.

60's disco

60’s Disco - Friday 18 June 8pm - Scout Hut, Banchory
This summer, a group of 25 young people from The Edge Youth Group from the West Church are going to Seattle to work with local young people in projects among the homeless and the needy in the inner city area. Although they will also have time off, the main aim is to serve others and, most nights, they will be sleeping on the floor of a church hall. The team are paying for their flights and have been fund raising for the trip – for example, car washing last weekend at the East Church – and they are organising a 60’s Disco on 18 June at the Scout Hut at 8pm. At only £5 for entry, it’s a bargain trip down memory lane! For more information, contact Tony Stephen 07866704738 or Lesley Young 01330 850581
